World Cup Officiating, or lack of it.

The whole world saw England kick the goal. That is, everyone but the referee.

This 2010 World Cup has seen the worst officiating in modern times.

Blunder after blunder has been made by the officiating crews. It seems as if no country in this World Cup was happy with the officiating.

FIFA appears to be satisfied with what went on an offers no legitimate reason to even consider reviewing the goal.

This is absolutely wrong, and something should be done about it.

I don’t know what the outcome of the England vs. Germany match would have been if the call was reversed, but I do know that it took the fight out of England who were demoralized by the call.

Looking ahead to 2014, something must be in place to take care of calls such as the ones we saw against the USA and Germany.

FIFA needs to come into the 21st century and use the technology to review disputed goals in real time. The technology is there, why not use it?

Should this type of officiating continue, many countries participating in World Cup Matches will sooner or later boycott both the games and FIFA. I MAKE THE CALL.
