The first set was like a Sunday afternoon stroll in the park. 18 minutes and it was over, 6-0 Serena Williams over 21 year old Dominica Cibulkova, the 46th rank player in the world.
Not so fast my friend. There is still work left to be done. The second set was not a cake walk, even though Serena never double faulted and threw in a few aces, 20 for the 2 sets, Dominica hung with Serena. But, in the end, Serena had too much power and prevailed 7-5 in the second set.
I guess coming back to center court made a difference to Serena and she showed it. I MAKE THE CALL.
